Resignation from firm

With regret we have to inform, that our respected colleague and cofounder, Sebastian Müller, is no longer a companion of the hello IT GbR from the 1st of September, 2011. He resigns at own wish from the society. We wish him on his other life all the best.

The hello IT GbR will be continued as usual by the remaining four companions in future.

Hello IT has released a new App for iPhone and iPad: Morphing offers the user the possibility to combine two pictures with a unique morphing method to create an interesting new picture by your demands immediately! From the description:

''Transform a picture of a cat and a dog into composite beings or take a picture of you and combine it with celebrities or relatives – there are masses of interesting possibilities!'

Hello IT releases KOUYOU App and Global:local

We are very proud to announce, that we today released together with our partners from think moto an unique App. KOUYOU is an iPhone-App that connects augmented reality and location-based services to a new kind of global marketing. An excerpt from the description of the App:

KOUYOU is a poetic augmented reality app that allows people to write notes on Japanese maple leaves and blow these across the globe. The Explore mode lets you collect the leaves around you. In Map mode you can browse messages on a world map. The app makes us of iPhone functions like camera, microphone and compass and connect with facebook and google maps.
Kouyou is the Japanese term for autumn leaves, which can be seen a lot in autumn in Hokkaido. Besides, maple is one of the important wood materials for the furniture production in Asahikawa.
The idea is build on the intention of the global:local project: to build connections between people in different regions in the world.

Hello IT was responsible for technical conception and implementation of the interaction concepts and design layouts made by think moto for the iPhone-App and also for the two websites that are connected with them, kouyou.de and project-globallocal.de.

DDC Award

We are happy to announce, that our friends of think moto got an DDC-Award in good design for the Atelier Kontrast Website. These are good news for us too, because our colleague Michael Witt worked on the design implementation in an flex application. Congratulations!

iMemorizeFree is out!

You can now download our App "iMemorize" for free. It's called iMemorizeFree and has little advertisement, but includes all the functions that the original iMemorize version has. Have a look in the AppStore!

iMemorize Version 2

With version 2 of iMemorize, you are now be able to view images on your flashcards that you have embeddeded using the jMemorize software.

Through the consequent implementation of the Leitner flashcard learning principle, iMemorize helps you even better to learn more effective and faster.

Native french and spanish language support is also available in version 2.

Pleas make sure to use the up to date version of the Hello IT iMemorizeSyncronizer and jMemorize.

iMemorize Update

With our new Version of iMemorize you can share your flashcards with other Macs or iPhones/iPods.

This means, it is not necessary anymore to upload flashcards to a webserver that were created with jMemorize to copy them on your mobile phone. You can easily share your flashcards with your relatives, colleagues or friends.

Our newest application is now online and available for download in Apple's AppStore. iMemorize is a learning software which currently is exclusively available for iPhone and iPod Touch.
