AsciiArtist by hello IT is an application for iPhone, iPod and iPad that enables you to transform your images into text versions. The content of the image will remain and will still be visible through the text representation. This allows you to enrich your images with an additional layer of inspiration.

ASCII Art is not completely new. The representation of images as text has been there from the very beginning of the internet. AsciiArtist allows you to imprint this retrospective feeling onto your images.
Transform your favorite images into text versions using the courier font and send the results as plain text or as a new image.

More filters available

AsciiArtist contains three more text filters besides the traditional ASCII Art filter. These enable you to integrate your own text messages into your images by keeping the original image visible.
You can add your messages with a custom font and font size. But even when using custom text, font and size the original will still be visible through your message.

You should try it. Each filter has a lot of different options. These allow you to adjust your result many times and always get a different stunning effect.

Once you're satisfied you can share your results via mail, facebook and twitter. You can also export the results to your photo-library on your device for easy use on your MAC or PC.
